Specialty Sensors
Surface temperatures can be a difficult measurement. Special engineering
and extensive testing of the Smart Sensor surface pad provides
fast response and accurate surface measurement. Model 1500 shown
above has been used extensively as the primary control element
for freeze protection control loops. A retractable design that
allows removal of the sensor while leaving the surface pad in
place is also available. Smart sensor designs have be used to
measure the skin temperature of vessels, pipes, boiler tubes,
superheater tubes or where ever the process requires surface temperature
measurement.
